Rainy fieldFor the last ten years, it has seemed like it would never come.  Just like the unrelenting heat of summer seems unending in August, the continual increases in insurance rates have seemed to be never-ending!

Just like the cool rains of early September bring relief from the sun, we are now set to enjoy more stable, predictable, and perhaps lower insurance rates.

Beginning around 2010, insurance claims for property damage accelerated dramatically because of record-breaking bad weather.  These catastrophes weren’t just limited to Oklahoma and the southwest. They were spread over the eastern two-thirds of the country.  Dramatic increases in homeowner’s insurance rates followed for the next five years.

As we crested a big hill on property rates, automobile losses began to skyrocket.  Why?  Because lower gasoline prices and an improving economy saw people driving more and accidents increased.  Distracted driving due to improper cell phone use created even more destruction and the technology in today’s cars cost more than ever before to repair.  All of this has led to the double-digit increases in auto insurance premiums we have all had to pay for over the last few years.

Well, I think the autumn rains have come.  Just about every insurance carrier we represent is either cutting rates or is only increasing them at the rate of inflation.  This is incredibly welcomed news!

To make the most of it, we need to work together to help you take advantage of this opportunity to save money.  We have many tools to do that and we are anxious to help you reduce your costs.  We will be in touch with you as your renewal approaches, but in the meantime, if you’d like more information, or just to visit about your situation, please contact us by either phone or email
